The most complicated part of my work process is to find a different approach for every piece of art that I’m creating. It challenges you as an artist and makes you grow, find new techniques and produce something unexpected.. I have invested a great amount of time trying to come up with new a technique for cutting the hair for this piece. The painting itself is so subtle, lightly provoking and very settled at the same time. You cannot see the facial expressions, nor the look in the eyes and the only reference point here is the lips.
