Raven has a reputation of death bird. It is depicted as a strong figure in any death – fear – horror scene. I have made a background which looks like a distant forest fire and the same fire is reflected on the wings. Taking into account the perspective where the bright fire is reflected on the wings, the viewer can guess that the fire is surrounding the bird. So the main implication of this whole piece is that it is really eye catching but on the other hand this is disaster scene where something terrible is happening.
