POPPIES
POPPIES
It was during summer, while traveling around country I found some roadsides filled with these little beauties. Each time I thought it would be a great idea to pick them and bring back home to make reference photos they have died on the way. So I was glad that my neighbor, old lady from another building was growing poppies next to her balcony. Around one month I tried to find her at home to have a work if it was ok for me to pick few of the blooming ones. Newer got the chance so just before the autumn came I have found that poppies have started to throw their leaves and grow seeds instead. It was that time when I stole most of them in order to make this painting. Not feeling very innocent about this action but at least they can now bloom for eternity.
